“I have used A-1's service agreement which provides two yearly checks of my heating/cooling system for quite a few years. I've been generally satisfied with the technicians who performed the work. I particularly want to praise one technician, I think his name is Chris. I see on the receipt he gave me that he signed it with his initials "CWB". He came twice and each time solved a problem I had that no one else had solved. The first time, he figured out why my unit was leaking water during the summer from the bottom of the air handler unit: He replaced a rusty metal pan that had developed holes with a plastic one: problem solved. The second time he fixed a problem that I had complained about each time a technician came for an inspection: I had said the heat pump was making heaving noises and was generally so loud my neighbor complained about it. Chris figured out my air intake for the air handler was probably not providing enough air for the system which was, in a sense, "suffocating" and breathing hard. He suggested I get a different type of air filter that would provide more air, and he also adjusted the slats on the metal covering of the opening so they would let more air in: since then, much less noise! Chris, thank you!”
“Tim, who is the owner I think, did the initial estimate and then Mike and Bones with the help of Rob and Nathan did the install. A complete replacement of my HVAC system including ductwork and it was very nicely done. I am very picky and know what I'm doing and these guys are first rate. I don't want to overlook Pam at the office who was always cheerful and helpful whenever I called. A good outfit and I recommend them highly.”

“These guys are great. Called them this morning and they were here by this afternoon. Tanner was courteous and explained everything he was doing. I had smelled smoke this morning and he checked the "furnace" inside and out, all of the breakers and breaker box and the outside fan. He didn't find anything and said everything looked fine. I thought he was very helpful and very thorough. A-1 has a good group of people working for them, at least the ones I have dealt with on the phone and in person."
“Tim came by and just did an inspection on our heat pump. Nothing turned out to be wrong, but he was very courteous, very polite, and offered great advice to keep our old old system running. I'd call them again!”
“Our central air upstairs (two zone – the main floor was doing great, but we sleep upstairs, where of course it failed) went out on a Friday afternoon. We have had A-1 maintain our AC, heat pump, and furnace previously, so we called them later that evening. They were willing to come out that evening, but I didn’t want to wake up our five year old (you know how that is, he would have wanted to help), so they scheduled for the next morning, on Saturday. The five-year-old and I were at the farmer’s market, but they came by at about 9 AM, fixed us up, and by the time the child and I were home, it was fixed (Mom let them in). Admittedly, it was just a capacitor gone bad, and so they had parts, but still: We were chillin’ less than 24 hours later. Thanks! Oh yeah – It’s a higher charge for the weekend, but it was worth it, to us. You have to decide that for yourself.”
